Talking to a coworker (fellow union member) and he spoke about how higher wages will kill fast food. I just said that if a business can't survive while paying their employees a liveable wage, they shouldn't exist. You'd think I just killed a child in front of them by their anger at that comment.

I believe their supports are still in the honeymoon phase. While it feels like it's been a year already, it has only been a week. So, many are probably waiting for the payoff. As such, it will take a while before the negatives start really getting supporters to question their actions.

If this is true, it really is a whole other layer to what people thought Musk was doing with twitter. Hoping this will get the proper attention it deserves and is investigated, though with less than a week before the new administration takes over I highly doubt it.
