Big'un this week, Tanuki figures' War at a massive, biblically accurate 1/6 scale, since he's much bigger than a regular human it's actually close to a 1/4 figure and twice as wide.Really happy with the result, sadly don't have CA3D's Death on my shelf currently to pair with it.

New-ish build of the week, I finally got an order for a Nova figure ( model by CA3D), at 1/8 scale. My 1/6 build was sitting on my shelf for years at this point, and I was still a beginner when painting the figure, so I just printed a new, better one at 1/6 for free and reused the base to make room.

Busy busy busy with orders so no new build this week, so just a WIP of @bulkamancer.bsky.social 's bonkers Pragmata model scaled up to 1/6. Even with the infinite level of detail 3D printers can do, few models feel like the best cast resin models. This is one of them.

1/4 build of CA3D Studios' Medusa with a paint bottle for scale (it's huge!). I didn't glue/putty/sand the hair parts together since it would have been too big to send as a single piece. Soon on Etsy!

1/4 buid of CA3DStudios ' Gemma, ended up being one big chunk o' resin. AWESOME model by Serghaz with great cuts ( nothing is glued together here)

Now for something different, @gazminis.bsky.social ' firefighter witch Nimue, blown up to 1/4 scale ( gobbo so "only" 37cm tall)

A simpler build of week, 1/4 Batgirl from Abe3D. Arms are magnetized, the figure is ready to ship! I can also paint one in Batwoman colors.

Just showing off a little effect with a color gradient, to make a visor look transparent, when it's just a solid surface.

Ended up with two models at the same time, from Bulkamancer and CA3D, and painted them together. The main difference is the lava I painted with inks, else it was mostly oils over acrylic silver. 1/6 builds.

Finally done with this one, @roninartsworkshop.bsky.social 's Elemental Pyra based on @aleriiav.bsky.social 's art, a mini blown up to 40cm tall with some more details sculpted in. Went full synthwave!

Sure, texture improves models, but sometimes it's a bit overkill

I gave up on finding a new office job in CAD a few years ago, after my previous temp job ended in... March 2020. So I got into freelance printing & painting. Today I received this "offer": 5 years experience needed 7 months temp job move to the other end of the country No thanks
