So apparently, Peppermint Ribbon Candy Cookie is now my dance partner on an upcoming performance in a week. On the one hand, its a refreshing change of pace to pairing with Peppermint Marzipan Cookie. On the other hand... I've just gotta say it: this girl is a little naive about dance, in general.

OH. She just casually performed 64 fouettes like it was nothing. For context: average dancers barely handle 16, and veterans tend to have trouble with 32. Being able to do 64, AND manage to stay in place? That is phenomenally hard. Peppermint Ribbon Candy Cookie is quite the talent, good for her!

A new dancer was accepted into the troupe today, and she seems nice! Peppermint Marzipan is going all-in to make her a "protégé" though. Which is weird to do with a cookie that shares the same Peppermint flavor???

Oh bake me running, another article on this? AGAIN? Dance magazines on the CookieNet apparently love two things: trying to inflate Peppermint Marzipan Cookie's ego, and comparing me to her in a "dedicated training vs natural talent" kind of way that ALWAYS feels passive-aggressive... toward ME.
