If I ever made an RPG like Symphony Of the Night, I'd make an invisible counter for weapons and armor drops that goes up by a random int of 1-3 on each enemy you kill. Each enemy would have its own threshold, like the counter would be 50 for leather plate and 500 for something valuable...

I did a job search query on DeepSeek to find unlisted contracts with small studios. Most of them weren't hiring, but they made some darn cool stuff, so I decided to follow them :D

Using Rigify to take a skeleton template and build a model around it feels like a cheat, but I'm pretty sure it's LITERALLY what the pros do. Not only can it be used as a guide for making models, but it makes animation 200% easier to set up, creating a lot more wow for less ow. 😛 #indiedev gamedev
