I may have cried on the phone but I finally got my long term disability approved 🙌🏼

Feeling very disappointed with myself. Had multiple things planned for today and none of them worked out. Plus I had an opportunity for things to work out better and I didn’t take it. I don’t want to be like this anymore yet not asking for things is why I’m like this 🤦🏻‍♀️

May have found a new treatment for my nerve issues! Been a full week and I’ve barely started shaking again 🙌🏼

Sometimes its frustrating how slow recovery is. Doing better overall but going stir crazy is not helping my mental health. I need more things to do that don’t also drain the little energy I have

Finding the right people to help is so important but when you do, holy shit is there a lot of crap to unpack. I've known big change is coming and its a good thing but uncovering the truth is going to hurt like a bitch. Guess the good news is I'll probably start painting again to process it...

Its really hard to heal from chronic health issues when insurance is constantly asking you to prove you are actually disabled. The irony being if I can't afford my current health plan, I'm going to have to quit altogether 🙃

As hard as this year has been its always felt like its leading to something better. Last night proved that. Actually feeling hopeful heading into 2026 now 🎉

Not Earp related but this is the first painting I've finished in about 2 years. Chinchilla's music has really resonated with me in some deeply personal ways & as soon as I saw this shot I knew I wanted to paint it. Went to a farm that has haunted houses, hay rides etc. last night and it was a lot of fun but almost 24hrs later I can still smell all the smoke from the fog machines. At one point it was so bad the guy who was supposed to be scaring us broke character to point where to go because we couldn't see 😝

Finally finished rewatching The Haunting of Bly Manor and wanted to repost these paintings I did a few years ago. I always intended to do more… I may pick it up again now that I’m getting back into art. Bly is still one of my favourite series 💜

There needs to be more talk about how chronic pain acts like a mind wipe. I know there are terms like missing time for panic attacks but this is more intense than that. The further I get into recovery the more it feels like the last two years didn’t happen. Its a real mind fuck

Starting off posting #WynonnaEarp art on here with #EarpSisterSunday! This was on of the first paintings I did when I was first teaching myself how to do this and was my unofficial introduction into the fandom so it has always had a special meaning for me both in and outside of the show ♥️

Been looking through old art to post and I think I need to make a series called “things I forgot I painted” because in my head I did like 10 things but in reality its over 200 😝

Doing a sleep clinic tonight but after that I won’t have any medical stuff to deal with for a couple weeks which is nice

My brother just called me out of the blue and we had a really nice long conversation 💜 (this was a big deal because he barely even answers texts)

Officially getting my second MRI of the year 🙌🏼 Don’t have a date for it yet but hopefully this one will finally rule out a tumour and then maybe they’ll start looking at other options.

I want to start posting/interacting more but everything is so shitty right now. Every time something good happens it seems to be followed by something equally as negative. I just want to be able to enjoy life again 🙃

Went to parc omega with some friends yesterday. Had never been before but had a really fun time!

Got a few little things done today. Not nearly as much as I needed to but more than I can usually handle so its still a start.
