Covered California, California’s #Obamacare saw, 235,000 newly enrolled recipients for 2026, a 32% decrease compared to 2025. The decrease in new enrollees is likely a result of higher premiums due to the loss of enhanced federal premium tax credits under the Republican H.R. 1 budget bill.
