He is not well. My take is that his advisors saw him not holding his own with the other G7 leaders and needed to get him out of there.

The longer people feel this way makes it harder to build/rebuild political movement/organization that will be successful in future elections. He won running on easy issues of inflation and immigration, against a candidate who was in an a no-win situation. Put your energy in the now and tomorrow.

Putting aside the waste of money, the juxtaposition of Trump’s parade to the nationwide protests has been impactful.
