I’ve been in hospital most of this week after a minor mental slip. Some times after though you need to read about fortitude. This book has helped massively. Teamwork and hope can do wonders for the soul.

I am thinking of starting a sub stack for my short stories and poems. Is it worthwhile?

Sometimes, when you get a swing down, you write loads. Other times it’s much crappier and harder. This is one of those times.

I do wonder how many other writers have written poetry about people they know, who’ve annoyed them and then as it’s a good poem want to show them badly. Ha! Because I have written some they are really good. (One will be in a poetry magazine though).

I’ve spent my day writing about the darkest parts of suicide and am actually fully emotional done in. I so sincerely hope when people read it that these issues are very real and people who are the outwardly happy can sometimes be at the biggest risk.

Do other people sometimes, meet folk that are so historically inaccurate, that you truly can’t be bothered correcting them? I think I have today hit that moment.

I’ve just written about an English monarch being the, “first know case of main character syndrome”. And am so proud of the line ha! Just the book its for means it won’t see the great line for what it’s true value is. Which makes me sad ha!
