This is a kind of manifesto. I want a space of my own to live in, away from everything and everyone. Not just surrounded by people I can tolerate, but by people I genuinely like, value, and consider friends. And maybe a boyfriend too. People whose presence feels like a choice, not an obligation.

What makes a group irritating is not simply wanting freedom for itself, but demanding superiority over others, believing it is entitled to special treatment, and being the loudest about victimhood while showing little concern when others are treated the same way.
