We’re living in a time surrounded by people who seem to be the last to understand the world and somehow, they show it.

Put on a podcast I like, wrapped myself in a blanket, and I’m just typing this on my phone. Feels really cozy.

I’ve realized something: writing doesn’t really happen without a sense of comfort. And I say this because without free time or some level of financial ease, there’s barely any space left to think. Trying to build an inner world on top of that can feel genuinely exhausting.

Tried to write two lines but my head’s all over the place.

I just wanted to clear my head with some Netflix and stumbled on a documentary called Trust Me about Mormons. A couple goes inside the community, observing them up close like under a microscope. That's kind of interesting

This might sound controversial to some, but I can’t ignore it people who adopt ideas or political views in a radical way often end up embracing the complete opposite as they get older. And they do it just as radically it feels like a kind of personality shift to me.

It's like we're watching a play from our seats things are happening, and we can't do a thing about it.

I find it ridiculous when small digital art influencers say “You don’t need an iPad, Paint works too” just to wink at other brands. It downplays Apple’s tools and opportunities, which feels both unfair and diminishing.

Feels like we’re heading into a phase where those in power run countries through a kind of fragmented democracy, bringing certain groups into view only in the dose and timing that suits them.

The manosphere documentary talks about a guy who used to be homeless and saw himself as completely worthless. After finding this circle, he got his life somewhat together yet still believes becoming muscular and misogynistic is the upgrade. That’s the part that feels genuinely sad.

In this manosphere documentary, these hyper-masculine influencers seem to have barely convinced the women they’re with into one way non-monogamy. You can read the discomfort on their faces. It feels exploitative. And if it isn’t, why would someone agree to something that clearly doesn’t feel right?

I’m watching a manosphere documentary and it honestly makes me sick. The level of thinking from these hyper-masculine men, and even the women around them, feels painfully low. Seeing this kind of mindset exist and actually influence people makes it hard not to feel hopeless.

This is totally unhinged

Which do you think is dumber: people who believe they can become billionaires just by working 💼💸, or those who think they can become real men just by learning masculinity lessons 💪🤦‍♂️?

Even though it feels like a small, happy world on its own, the illusion breaks when I mingle with people 😔
