David Gentile, a private equity executive, was sentenced to 7 years in federal prison for his role in a $1.6 billion fraud scheme that harmed thousands of investors. Trump commuted his sentence about 12 days after he reported to prison.

Lawrence Duran and Marianella Valera were convicted of massive Medicare fraud exceeding $205 million and received sentences of 50 and 35 years. Trump commuted both their sentences.

A Nevada Republican was convicted in 2024 of wire fraud for diverting over $70,000 raised for a fallen police memorial to personal expenses, including cosmetic surgery and her daughter’s wedding. In April 2025, Trump pardoned her.
