Put the booze back. From Premier Doug Ford: With the U.S. pausing tariffs, Ontario will also pause our retaliatory measures. If President Trump proceeds with tariffs, we won’t hesitate to remove American products off LCBO shelves or ban American companies from provincial procurement.

A 30 day reprieve: @JustinTrudeau I just had a good call with President Trump. Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan .... Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together.

Some sad news for those of a certain age: Singer Wayne Osmond is dead at the age of 73. His brother Merrill confirmed Osmond died in Salt Lake City on New Years Day after suffering a stroke. Wayne was known for his baritone voice as part of The Osmond Brothers.
