With Omabuntu and Omadeb v1.4.0, the Omarchy-style CLI will also be adopted! 🔥 Seeing bash completion working always makes me incredibly excited, especially when I think about how difficult it was to look up a command with `omakub-` before.

It’s not really a problem in itself... until it starts doing it for every commit regardless of whether you’re using Copilot or not. I'm starting to think it's time to try nvim again.

Started packaging tools for my own setup, ended up with a public APT repo for Debian and Ubuntu. This saved me from having to rebuild packages I use pretty much everywhere. Includes things like niri, ghostty, starship and more. Might be useful if you know the feeling.

v1.3.1 is now available! 🔥 These're mostly post-release fixes from the previous release and new packages available in the dedicated repository. Several existing packages have also been updated to the latest versions, such as alacritty v0.17.0, zellij v0.44.1 and others.

Omabuntu and Omadeb v1.3.0 have been released, bringing with them the migration to Walker, the addition of Ghostty and Tmux, and two new themes based on Omarchy! Along with this, the related documentation and the main Omakasui website have been updated. You can find everything in the comments! 🔥

I decided to align the version number with the next release of
#Omabuntu

I’ve been playing around with React to try authenticating with Quria for Destiny 2’s APIs and... DAMN! The more I use Next.js, the more I feel like I’m just surrendering to a lot of magic under the hood. 🫠 Honestly, Vite and other simpler bundlers feel way closer to “pure React” experience.

Today in Milan, a student activist group hung a trash-filled effigy of Musk upside down on a gate outside of piazzale Loreto, where Mussolini's body was displayed in 1945. They left the message: "C'è sempre posto a piazzale Loreto, Elon" (There's always room in piazzale Loreto, Elon)
