I parkwalked at parkrun this morning (one of 4 volunteers in blue bibs, there were also 2 tailwalkers) and finished 273 / 301. That means there were 28 other walkers behind me (3 walkers also finished in front) … what an amazing achievement today to welcome so many to 5K ❤️🚶🏻‍♀️ @pauls-h.bsky.social

Nine years ago today I ran my first marathon. I’d done a 16 week couch to 42K training plan and was both very proud and totally and utterly broken at the end 😂 In two weeks I’ll run my 10th consecutive Manchester Marathon (and 44th marathon or further race!) That escalated quickly 😉

It feels as good a time as any to say, again, that I once ran parkrun with currently-out-on-the-Barkley-course (and honorary member of my brilliant running club!) John Kelly

I have reached 100KM in my festive running challenge. Halfway through. How silly would it be to try and get to 200KM by Christmas Day? 🫣

I’m running up to Christmas, doing at least 5K a day every day in December until Christmas Day. It’s day nine and I’ve hit 45 miles and don’t hate it. Except the washing 😂 Apparently by day 15 you’re in too deep to quit 🤷🏻‍♀️ so just another week to power through
