It's Spring Break for many local kids, so come and enjoy a family-friendly day at the Museum. More than 40 fire engines and an interactive children's Discovery room.

While we have had a great time explaining the history of the Fire Service to those around us, we figured it was time for a change. We are swapping our nozzles for handcuffs, and our engines for squad cars. Going forward we are going to be the Law Enforcement Museum of Maryland! #Aprilfools

Join us for our Famous Hand and Steam Show on Saturday May 3rd! Put some hands on history and pump a 19th century handpump fire engine. See a mighty steam pumper in action. Take a ride in a horse drawn hose wagon. Children activities and games!

Join the Fire Museum of Maryland for our first ever Book Day! We will have several authors at the museum, including some of our own staff, who will be promoting their books! There will be signings as well as readings of the children's books!

One of our most popular events of the year is coming up this Saturday, March 1 - Family Safety Day. 10-4,and admission is free!

Do you and the little ones ever get cabin fever during the winter? In that case, come join us for Cabin Fever Mondays in January! Let the kids run around the Discovery Room and burn off some energy. Please see the image for details!
