The Sumter is the common heavy weapons platform for the machine cavalry. Every squadron has at least one platoon of Sumters which is typically split up to provide support to the several Sylvester platoons. Occasionally they are deployed together to form the spearhead.

In contrast of the Orbital Navy's preference for big guns, surface fleets favor guided missiles. This allows their limited numbers to cover as much ground as possible.

Machine Cavalry rifleman

A Stellar Marine Colonel is the highest ranking marine officer present in a fleet, their position requires them to lead from the front resulting in brutal and often brief careers. Stellar Marines are typically tasked with boarding actions, EV combat, and hardpoint assault.

The limited vessels of the orbital navies are occupied by their spaceborne duties, leaving few that can provide any form of orbital support. Due to their scarcity surface fleets can still be found in conflict zones and at risk areas.

Urban combat wip

The Federated Navy maintains a section of naval infantry on each ship to support Marine landing forces when the needs arise.

The Despotism of Ratton sits in a sparsely populated corner of space and mostly concerns itself with pirates, renegade forces, and vagabond warlords. It's systems provide a decent recruiting ground for Federated forces as many of its citizens look for a way out.

A Coalition of Independent Nations Ranger. Although maps present them as the largest political body to appear after the dissolution of the Imperial state, they are little more than a loose collective of small systems and Independent planets.

Gun Witch

the Braddock is the preferred main battle tank of the Machine Cavalry. A somewhat older machine it still can be found preforming admirably throughout many a system, working in tandem with the scores of bipedal war machines.

It is rare to see a patrol fleet without at least a pair of carriers.

Commonly referred to as a Treaty Cruiser, these vessels and those of similar tonnage make up the bulk of modern capital ships. Toeing the line as much as physically possible, ship builders make use of every ounce they were allotted through the myriad of restrictions put in place

Most battleships have been showing their age for decades at this point, budgetary restrictions and lack of facilities prevent the production of brand new vessels. Those that are newly commissioned tend to be projects years in the making.
