This Herring gull was originally ringed GN56540 in 2003 in Felixstowe and had a red colour ring ZFZ fitted, it was recorded several times until 2005 when the Colour ring probably came off, it is the first confirmed sighting in 20 years! it is now 22 years old.

It was nice to come across a couple of Shelduck with 10 youngsters at Landguard this morning, the local Crows soon found them and took two, I followed them to the river to make sure they didn't lose any more, 8 made it on to the river.
