My office is investigating this disturbing incident of a deranged @joelengardio.bsky.social supporter attacking patriotic recall volunteers. I know his supporters are prone to violent episodes, but this is unacceptable. Once the assailant is caught, we will be seeking the death penalty.

As you all know, I have established a close working relationship between Walgreens and the SF DA's Office. Given recent events, we are working together to have these signs installed in front of every Walgreens store in San Francisco.

Stealing toilet paper from Walgreens is a reprehensible crime. I was actually holding back by only charging them with a 3-year felony. It should be at least a decade.
