Reading the new EHRC guidance and frankly quite distressing that it repeatedly says 'it is ok to exclude'. Speaks to how broken are system is that new guidance from our equality body is focused on who can rightfully be excluded from certain spaces.

I think the best way to enjoy this list, which contains lots of predictable choices (made as it was by committee), is to find a book you like, click to see who voted for it, and then look at the voters' other top 10 choices. You might find something else you like that you haven't read.

In light of Andy Burnham finding a potential (if not certain) route to becoming MP then PM, this issue becomes much, much more relavent. Consider Louise Haigh is seen as a Burnham ally is this a mini manifesto for how a Burnham government would act?
