In the end the big issue here (as a BMA member myself) is what is the end thing the BMA want from this strike action? Because they've moved the government on: pay, jobs, exam feeds, pay structure. The answer I expect is FPR but at what point did that change from a union tactic to a cult message?

I think the chart that I think neither side is using to their fullness are these ones. Look at what pay was pre strikes and what it would be post strikes on the current deal An FY1s salary is up 40% from 2023. An ST7 up 30%. If you'd showed this to the BMA in 2022 I don't think they'd believe it

There's the repeated post about nothing but FPR when you look on Reddit and elsewhere. Yet seems a classic case of the perfect being the enemy of the good. The BMA has done a good job and gotten a huge improvement in the deal for resident doctors now. Really should have put this deal to a vote.
