In the US, sanctuary cities were started to protect Central American asylum seekers who were here legally. The city could protect them until they were safely integrated into our society. The vast majority of immigrants then were here for economic reasons, and they were not allowed to stay.

If illegal aliens loved this country, they would do the right thing and self-deport. US would win, they could take the money and run, and their home country would benefit from their altruism. Win-Win-Win.

Socialism sucks. Suppose i am a billionaire. I made money working hard, treating my employees well, and paying my taxes. I take advantage of legal tax laws. Why do we need socialism? If you feel i am not paying enough, why not change the laws eliminating tax loopholes?

To the person who mentioned that black women are being held back, maybe they're not the best candidate for the job. Many have succeeded, but they are talented.

Those who approve of socialism believe that people/corporations are selfish, greedy and unenlightened, so they refuse to help others via government taxes. But, isn't the government made up of people who are selfish, greedy and unenlighted? Government is the opiate of the people. Think about it.

I was brought up to revere Memorial Day because my relatives were in WW2 and Vietnam. While my relatives did not die, they were truly casualties suffering from physical and emotional trauma. EVERY VETERAN FOUGHT TO PRESERVE OUR COUNTRY AND FREEDOMS. Think about this when you embrace socialism.

I loathe Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. I doubt that DJT was involved in victimization or else Democrats would have used such information against him during his candidacies and presidencies. That's why I suspect people of both parties were involved, and exposing them would be MAD.

Trump is draining the swamp by primary-ing useless incumbents. If those entrenched government leeches had done their jobs, we would have balanced budgets (no deficits), revamped tax laws that people can understand and a moral immigration policy. Don't blame Trump; it's the system.

I have difficulty listening to people calling US racist. Racism was made illegal in 1964 with the Civil Rights Act. People who choose to discriminate against those protected, face legal action. Also, abortion is legal in 43 states and has been for years. So that's another ration of BS.
