{ time for work, medic. he’s exiting the washroom while simultaneously shifting on his medical mask, ready to start the day by heading off to work. he’ll see you later, springer. the patients await. * 🫩 }

{ ideally, yes. first aid would let just about anything happen if it meant this could continue further, slipping his servos upwards to reside along his shoulders. purrrrrr. settle down a little, medic… }

don’t be silly. i always miss you when i’m away at work… { springer and his JOKES. the medic hums before leaning in for a proper moment of contact, certainly not stopping anytime soon. come closer, wrecker. * ❤️ }

{ that’s more like it. his hands are a little more timid with their movement along springer’s frame, but he’s very much reciprocating the affection. nibble. } that’s good to hear… missed you a lot today.

it wasn’t too busy for a friday… should consider myself lucky. { already trying to pull him in for a kiss— the medic is a little needy right now! } how was your day…?

heh, sounds good to me… it’d be nice to spend some time together, don’t you think? { whether or not the medic has planned this far is uncertain, but he’s continuing to caress the length of his arm. very nice… }

what? i just don’t want to burn my glossa is all… { yeah, he really shouldn’t be talking. plain coffee sounds like a crime. moving to slide off the bed, his hand gently caressing along springer’s arm. } it looks like we both have today off then, huh?

not too long, maybe half an hour. but i thought coffee would be nice— mine is cooling in the kitchen. { does he KNOW iced coffee exists? it’s right up his alley, with how much sugar he likes. }

{ pursing his lips with the series of noises before him… relax, first aid. } hm? no— it’s not even noon yet. you’re awake just in time for the morning. you can go back to sleep if you want.

yes, you look ready for battle. i brought you some coffee… { he softly retorts while setting the steaming mug by his bedside, hoping the aroma will help entice him. } i almost didn’t want to wake you, you looked so peaceful.

{ let him LIVE. it’s better than overdoing alcohol… now preparing a bland cup of fresh coffee for springer, heading back into the bedroom with it in tow. nudge, nudge. }

{ coffee it is!! tiptoeing out of the room so springer can continue sleeping soundly. time to make himself an ALL TOO SWEET cup, too. }

{ after finishing up in the washroom, he’s peeking out… should he wake the wrecker up? or does he have a day off… maybe he can make him some coffee first. }

{ oh my god. it was halloween, that’s why every patient kept asking for candy… weird thing to suddenly remember when you’re brushing your denta, firstie. }

… yes… { playfully squinting his gaze. first aid is marking this as a lucky guess for right now. } but, today there were no lost patients. so, all in all, a great day.

{ two patients actually. successfully too! } mmn. i wish. it was fairly busy— but when is it not? felt like i was getting pulled every which way. why are you grinning like that? { it earns a laugh out of first aid, thankfully. springer is just so cuteeee. }

how was your day… { softly murmured, even halting to place a few kisses across springer’s face. safe to say first aid feels the exact same for him! }

{ he’s giddy, especially with how he settles his grabby servos upon his ridiculously large chassis to hold instead. nuzzling against springer’s cheek… }

handsomeee. { meooowww… slowly but surely, his hands relent and free up the previous hold upon him, only to flutter his visor up at him. } cuddle time?

ohhhnmnn. thanks, you’re the sweetesstttt… { the medic still seems to be half asleep, seeing as his servos are traveling and swiftly grabbing at springer. gribby grabby… watch those HANDS. } i missed youuu…

{ now, first aid feels the tiniest bit jostled when being laid down, the subtle hue of his visor signifying that he’s looking! } mnnuhh…? huh… { WAKE UP, sleepyhead. }

mmnnn… charge up for… resuscitation. ( 😪 ) { even in his dreams, he’s a hard worker. absentmindedly mumbling, seemingly still asleep. }

{ join your sleepy medic on the couch. or transfer him to the bed— up to him! }

{ dozed OFF after a hard day at work. did you lock the door, medic. }

{ clawing at his revealed optics. is it almost time to go home yet. }

{ after a considerable amount of time and water splashing, he pats his face dry with a towel before walking out— seemingly more awake than before. } ah… i hope i didn’t wake you. good morning…

{ no. but he’ll stumble his way into the washroom to splash some ice cold water on his face— does the job every time. please hold! }

{ early shift at the clinic… he’s awake, he swears. * 😵‍💫 }

mmm - hmmmn. { sleepy nods, settling in springer’s hold while his visor begins to fizzle offline. stop trying to nudge your cheek to his while he’s refueling, first aid. }

mmnn. okayyy. { the gesture is appreciated, although he’s continuing to nuzzle, the drowsiness soon catching up to him and slowing his movements. } missed you today…

{ JUMPSCARE!! handsome jumpscare at that… luckily first aid can’t wiggle too much even if he wanted to— the blanket has him good. lightly nuzzling into springer’s cheek. }

nice to see frostbite is back at work like usual… ah, this spot looks nice and… secluded. { so anti - social, this one. it’s hard to remember that this was his idea to come out here, sliding into one of the empty conversation pits. }

{ his visor flickers for a short moment, reaching to slide his book on the table. he seems like in such a rush to leave, maybe it was the conversation… * 💭 } mm - hmm. okay… { up you go, medic, even sliding up his medical mask. he likes to feel covered in public. }

you should be a little more open minded… { anything could happen, anyways! as great as springer is at his job, what if a backup plan was necessary? even first aid has thought of a secondary job every here and there. } but, that isn’t to say you aren’t great at what you do.
