About 5 inches of heavy sticky fresh snow outside this morning. Dorothea is going to spend her #Caturday scratching away between meals.

Here are some #CatNoirFriday pics. We survived a visit from the vet lady and her assistant yesterday. Dorothea’s weight is down a little so they are running some labs. Chloe gained some but only a little. We both have some signs of anxiety but staff does what they can to keep us free of stress.

#KittyLoafMonday Here we are loafing together on the back of the couch a few days back when we had some sun. Today it is snowing steadily and none of us have plans to venture outside.

Sunday morning #CatsOfBluesky Not as chilly as yesterday but also no sunshine so inside it is a wash. Forecast for snow this afternoon, overnight, and into Monday which might result in significant accumulations. Only time will tell.

#Caturday Super cold 🥶 outside but something is moving around in spite of the brrr-ness. Inside our old house has wide temperature variations: staff’s little low ceilinged east facing bedroom is 75F, the north facing kitchen in oldest part of house is 61 F. Popovers planned for staff lunch.

After 5 pm here on a #Caturday We had some light fluffy snow earlier but that is over for now. Still have to wait until closer to 6 pm for our supper.

Why is it mum that you don’t bring us breakfast when you first get up? Waiting for dad to unload the dishwasher takes forever. #CatNoirFriday would be a fine time to break that pattern.

No baking for #KittyLoafMonday until mum delivers breakfast. Right now she is looking out windows, as is Dorothea too, because it’s a beautiful morning. A little fresh snow after a January thaw over the weekend.

Sometimes one of us is more alert than the other. Enjoy your #Caturday however choose; half awake or keeping an eye on everything your staff might be doing.

Snow ❄️ or sleet 🌧️ or freezing rain 🥶. Yup we got ourselves another yucky who knows what will happen outside sort of day. But Chloe knows what to do, adapt an adorable pose for #WhiskersWednesday, close your eyes and nap until lunchtime.
