tip of the day: when you name assets, make sure to pick a prefix that isn't also the prefix of tons of built-in functions because are listed first in the autocomplete results making it a pain to find assets. So e.g. I use "fnt_" for fonts and "rm_" for rooms.

script on my Helpful Scripts github. ~~~gui_get_maximized_bounds~~~ Your game have a static aspect ratio? But you want to draw stuff ON the black bars? This will give you the bounds of the gui event INCLUDING the black bars without having to use display_set_gui_maximize()
