At the end of last year, I secured £20 million of funding for parts of Kensington. Now residents can decide how that money is spent. I am in the process of pulling together meetings so residents are at the heart of local decision-making. Thanks to Sec of State, Steve Reed, for this message.

I believe the strikes on Venezuela and the capturing of Maduro and his wife by the US is a severe breach of international law. Whilst Maduro’s regime was illegitimate, corrupt and cruel, this is not the way to pave a better future for the people of Venezuela. (1/3)

Always a delight to catch up with Rob & Cathy of Love Jasmine. Rob & Kathy lost their beautiful daughter Jasmine in 2014 & now run a charity helping bereaved families. Their strength, resilience & dignity is humbling.

I welcome the publication of the Child Poverty Strategy, the commitment to lift 550,000 children out of poverty is exactly what a Labour Government should be delivering.

Housing First works. Give people a permanent home + proper support and the cycle of rough sleeping, crisis care and criminal justice contact is broken. 80–90% stay housed, with huge drops in hospital admissions and major boosts to wellbeing.
