I ran @slyflourish.com ‘a Scroll of Akrave last night for a table of new players. It went great! I put the scroll in the crypt’s library and then had a Faerie Spider from @goodegggames.bsky.social “Archibalds Almanac of Adversaries” turn the library into its lair. Good times were had by all!

This week, I started converting @slyflourish.com 's Scroll of Akrave Scenario into a Daggerheart One Shot as well as using Incredible Adversaries by @tuckerauthor.bsky.social and @mikerunderwood.bsky.social for my Sunday Daggerheart game! I'm so excited right now.

For what it’s worth, Federal police were in our neighborhood several times a day until we carpeted the trees and telephone poles with these.

I don't do drugs, but, if the hit is anything like the feeling when I take the first sip of green tea in the morning, I think I get it.

My Daggerheart game now includes a fairy bartender named Dyme’ (no last name) who only works events and has mostly been dating inside the city’s music scene, but, is now looking to branch out to more mature relationships- like adventurers. Be careful what questions you ask your players.

The Unseen Seals: Act 2 - Session 20: The Festival of Heroes. Fresh off of robbing an adventure store on a morning set to honor them for saving the city, our heroes find themselves in the middle of a holiday, but, the mysterious Ashen Sparks are hot on their heels looking for the Ember of Ignisar!

Again, heavily inspired by @darringtonpress.bsky.social 's recent Daggerheart Adversaries and Environments v1.5 on the Void, here is my take on the Whisper Wraith.

When @darringtonpress.bsky.social released the Fellmounted Shadow King for Daggerheart, I loved the idea, but, wanted to put my own spin on it to make them truly terrifying and threatening. I also wanted to add a way for it to not have to be mounted... so... I did:

Here it is! A T3 Environment that is generic enough to paste over (under?) any shop in your game that tries to answer the question: "How DO people steal stuff in a world full of magic?" and the answer is: "They don't."

My next Daggerheart project is a generic Environment template that you can throw over any mid to high end shop that gives you options to help dissuade your PCs from breaking the law and trying to commit grand larceny. NO IDEA what what prompted this...

@thenaturolls.com - Inwas getting worried. My submission for Daggerheart WINSday is another T2 social adversary, the Information Broker- this is the shadowy figure that has- or can obtain- that crucial missing piece of your player’s puzzle… for a price… and not everything costs gold.

One of the truly incredible things about Daggerheart that I feel routinely that I never felt nearly enough with the other game is how often I find an Adversary or Environment someone created and immediately say: “oh! I want to find a way for my players to interact with that immediately!

If you find yourself creating environments for Daggerheart, remember that not every feature has to be a transaction where a PC rolls or gains hope or marks stress, etc… they can also be opportunities to tee up RP for the sake of making the scene interesting.

@thenaturolls.com - like a damn Keebler elf, I’ve been cookin’ up the good stuff. My focus is shifting currently to social adversaries because there are not enough of them (and they are great), so, this is a T2 Social - The Noble Lord which is meant to fill the gap between Monarch and Petty Noble.

Daggerheart - Session 19 - Heroes Making their way back to the surface, the party was greeted on the street as heroes; cheers, applause and fireworks. There would be a festival in their honor to celebrate their saving the city, followed by a huge banquet. So… they robbed a store. Fuck.

I’m quickly reaching that point where I feel like I’m over prepping for today’s Daggerheart session.

Daggerheart- The Unseen Seals - Arc Two - Session Nineteen - Heroes. Syl Gar is dead. The ancient ruins beneath the library are secured and the city is safe- for now. Our heroes emerge, celebrated as victorious heroes, but, the threat of evil still remains. What lies next for this unlikely band?

What a Daggerheart session! The first arc of this (so far) two year long campaign comes to an end! A criminal mastermind is dead, but, in his wake, a sinister shadow grows! My players will soon be pressed to venture into a dangerous world on a risk-it-all quest to stop an ancient evil!

Game Day Daggerheart - The Unseen Seals - The End Is The Beginning II: After navigating the ancient ruins, the party is finally ready to confront Syl Gar as an old enemy returns to take his revenge- but against whom? The party that imprisoned him? Or the former boss that tried to have him killed?!

TTRPGs are so weird with time. Looking back at our Daggerheart campaign, the next session will be the morning of the 15th of (Month). The night of the 11th of (Month) was a session we had LAST DECEMBER! Those are some seriously long days!
