centaurs :) decided to revisit these super old centaur designs. their developing lore is that they probably evolved from mammalian mermaids or vice versa? no one is quite sure. maybe they're just in a constant cycle of jumping in and out of the water and getting weirder each time.

been really into rewilding our backyard this year. i set up a little pond surrounded with native plants and it's been really flourishing over the summer. here are sketches of some of the critters I've spotted back there 🌱.

guardian spirits from 3 villages. though they can be perceived in many ways when they wish, their physical forms are strongest when incense is lit at their shrines. the smoke also carries their voices so that they can speak with their villagers directly.

former kindergarten teacher, current Countess of Crimson Death. her grandma died and her mom has health issues so someone has to keep dangerous "adventurers" out of town. she wishes she could go back to her old life, but at least the kids are happy when she visits.

a little beach chimera made of a geoduck, a fat innkeeper worm, and a goose barnacle. she's beauty, she's grace, she's got 3 INCREDIBLY loose definitions of a face. could I have made her out of more traditionally charismatic beach creatures? yes. but chaos reigns.

this art dump starts in august. when some people think of land sharks they tend to imagine a dog or cat with shark attributes but what if slug? what if crab? what if snake? if it can hang out on land for any period of time in its chosen ecosystem then that body plan is free real estate.
