Really enjoying playing Wolfenstein 2 for the first time 8 years after it's release. Looks incredible still, there's a lot to be said for dense levels, trim textures, and normal maps. The downtime on the sub between missions is really lovely so far, amazing characterisation for a game of this genre.

Bought a physical 4k copy of Dune: Part 2 to watch with friends, thinking 'well, it's only £6 more than renting a streamed version, why not?'. It was so beautiful, really made clear how much details like sand and film grain turn to mush when compressed. I will be going physical again, I think.

I was starting to think all the insulation we'd added during renovations was really a problem for summer (despite knowing it should be beneficial). Turns out we just needed to have faith and close all the windows before it gets too warm, and it pretty much holds steady at that temperature indoors.
