For the most part, it was decent. The performances were great, along with Linda's development and the power shift between her and her boss. However, it feels like it lost sight on who it wanted us to root for when [VAGUE SPOILER]💍came in. After that, my support for Linda kind of waned.

Not gonna lie, but ever since I took a brief hiatus from VRC last year, it has felt as if there's a noticeable distance between folks I know. Even after all this time, it doesn't feel like I've managed to narrow the gap.

There was quite a bit that I wanted to achieve this year, mostly just to live in spite of current events. Not only has most of those plans fell through, but it feel like I have less now than I did at the start of 2025 for reasons that I still don't understand.

One of these days, I will get around to making my cinematic portrait of the pains at working the night shift of retail, which will include one 18 minute long take of a cashier ringing up an entire cart load of purchases after business hours.

I know that my online persona might come off as chaotic with a sense of dark himor, but it's never with the intent to push others away. I value friendship so much that I would drop the act if any of my friends didn't like it.

I do understand that there are valid reasons why we should wear clothes. However, when I need to do my laundry, I want to do all of my laundry. It would be nice if I could have one day of the week were I can walk out of my apartment and down to the laundry room naked without consequences.

I don't know if this counts as a spoiler as I haven't paid too close attention to the marketing, so I'll mark it is such just to be safe. Considering that elements from the Alien franchise were used here, I feel confident with saying that this is the best AVP film that I've seen.

I'm starting to wonder if it might be better socially if I just go back to being the quiet type.

Wanna catch one more horror film before the month is out. I've never seen the Black Phone or any of the Conjuring films, so I went with the only showing for a film that wasn't a sequel.
