Another victory this week! SCOTUS denied an appeal of an AI artist…sorry, an AI slop generator…upholding a decision denying copyright protection of ‘AI art’. #aiart

I make comics on 11x17 Bristol board, blue pencils and ink pens. Some draw theirs digitally. Both are legitimate forms of creating art. What isn’t a legitimate form of art is texting a prompt into a computer to generate a fully formed page. If you create comics with AI, YOU ARE NOT AN ARTIST.

I never learn my lesson to check the published year on Marvel sketch covers. This one was from 2012 and Marvel’s early blank covers were made with terrible paper that was too slick. Inks and colors don’t blend well on them and instead smear into an ugly mess. INTO THE TRASH YOU GO!!!
