Had a couple insane games last night to pick up a 2-1. Round 1 was against my buddy trying Silverquill Repartee as a deck. Fun Fact. That deck pairs terribly against Unsummon! And I play 7 variants of it! Took the 2-0, didn't feel great beating on the jank, but thems the breaks.

It's less a set about "What is Magic in an alternate reality?" but more "Who are these characters in an alternate reality?" Color pie doesn't need to be bent or broken this way. Keeps everything nice where it needs to be.

But did we see the REAL news that they are burying today? No Low Stock alert Friday, and "No Longer Available" today? These got 30th anniversaried. No doubt in my mind. They didn't sell like they wanted so they shit canned these and will give them as promos. The ones left up are selling OK I think.

A cool thing I have been doing is Marathon Rook runs. Playing solo changes how you approach the game a lot and spawning later with no gear forces you into skirting the perimeter of maps, trying not to engage in combat. It's really great to farm early materials that others leave behind.

I am a bit sad that I have no moots who wanna talk Marathon lore with me. It's so deep, rich and amazing. Bungie is still the best at writing lore and creating eerie universes with questions that only open up more questions when answered. I wanna go to Cryo Archive. I want in Vault 7.

Last week, my friend @deathxpetal.bsky.social and her lovely partner went out west for a convention. They asked me and my wife to watch their cat for them. NBD, their cat is a G, we love him. They come back and got both my wife and I presents! I'll just say: holyfuckingshittheseareradical.

2 weeks total life span. Concord should have been a canary here. You cannot launch a Live Service game like this in 2026. It just doesn't work anymore. I'm sorry for the devs who worked their asses off on this and now has all that hard work evaporated. I was legit rooting for this game.
