Listening to a bunch of Beach Boys songs. My eyes are closed and I see my sister and other older girls dancing barefoot on our basement rec rooms of Long Island. Fake wood paneling, astronauts, that new show Star Trek and slot cars all flash through my mind.

On this holiday, I took my morning walk and saw a sign of hope.

Yesterday Holly & I met Chef Daniel Boulud. His food was fantastic but what really made our day was how kind and thoughtful he is.
