I've been improving my VRChat liquid simulation for the last few weeks. Of the most notable things that I've implemented is a ray tracing algorithm over a 3d texture isosurface (using some ideas from jcgt.org/published/00...) Its surprisingly performant for VR resolutions!

A question for the group: where do you put your view position? There have been plenty of times when I've matched eye height with someone and suddenly I'm tall enough to see the top of their head. Are they putting the view position literally above their head? Is there some VRC silliness happening?

I wrote my capstone paper from 8pm to 8am the day it was due, with only rockstar energy drink, the occasional caffeine pill, and unbridled adhd hyperfocus. Professor loved it and was sad it was my only class with him before graduating. That's how the real procrastinators do it.
