I kinda like Mega Heatran. The smoke coming off its back and melting steel showing how much hotter it is are nice details. Wish that its mouth wasn't stuck open and its hindlegs weren't melted away, though. Having little legs to help pull its girth along would've been great. x.com/palkiaorigin...

Oh ha, I was so close on these. Lucario Z had me doubting that any of the Z Megas would change type, but I was definitely leaning toward Dark/Ghost Absol if they did. And Garchomp had to be either pure Dragon or Dragon/Dark. Damn that Lucario not getting Dragon, though. 😔

Oh neat detail- there's a card with Ophanimon's face revealed and she has the same mole next to her eye as Lilithmon. It's a nice subtle way to show that it's the same monster if she went went down a different path.

Thinking more about this stone, the yellow looks similar to the yellow on shiny Meowstic. I know the stones don't have shiny colors on them. But if they added it here, then the mega could be a calico, and for the shiny they could just swap the color of the spots like on Togepi.

I lied, here's another Lucario Z post- I noticed that despite the name, Mega Lucario and Mega Lucario Z have the same red/blue dichotomy as the X and Y megas. (And maybe we should question why the Mega chus broke the blue X and red Y alignment.)

The boring part of this reveal wasn't Mega Zeraora's design. It was the lack of new information. ...actually, I think the Crobat line was new for this trailer, so that's the one other thing they revealed in this.

Well this annoys me a bit. Despite how it looks and what its description says, only one vine-using pokemon has Constrict and that's Tangela. The others get Wrap or Bind. Bind's description doesn't even mention vines! 😩

"Street, Midday" looks kinda like a stripped down Vernal Avenue. Doesn't have those balconies in Z-A, though, does it?
