Typically Americans think we are some kind of socialists. And yes, they are very wrong about that. All Nordic countries are market capitalist countries. However, the states are built on social democratic and liberal ideas of strong welfare, equal opportunities etc. The Nordic model.

After her party introduced a bill in the Romanian Parliament that serves Moscow's narrative and propaganda (see the thread below), MEP Diana Șoșoacă is once again in Moscow. It's been less than a month since she was at SPIEF. It seems that even though she's paid by the EU, she's working for Moscow.

Countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Denmark are often mistakenly described as "socialist." In reality, they have capitalist market economies combined with extensive social welfare systems and are considered examples of social democracy, not socialism.

In the 2024 Romanian parliamentary elections, PSD got 2,084,000 votes, while PNL+USR+UDMR (pro-🇪🇺 coalition) got 3,156,000. Yet President Dan ignores the pro-EU nomination and insists that PSD should form the government, the same PSD that toppled the pro-EU government together with the far right.

The French navy boarded an oil tanker off the coast of Sicily in what President Emmanuel Macron described as a new European move against Russia’s shadow fleet and vessels accused of helping Moscow evade sanctions.

❗️French Navy vessels detained the tanker Deliver (Cameroonian flag) off the coast of Sicily. The ship had departed from the Russian port of Primorsk heading to Singapore. President Macron stated that the vessel belongs to the Russian “shadow fleet” and is violating EU sanctions.

The dumbest russian lie is the claim that Ukraine has banned russian. There's no truth in it whatsoever. Zilch. Nothing. Nada. Ukrainian is the official language and is used officially.
