I think he’s fundamentally a decent human being, but he deserves obloquy for the remainder of his days. Merely *contemplating risking* the wreckage to our republic that he has left behind, let alone actually, selfishly helping to make it happen, is unforgivable.

Setting aside partisan politics, it’s kind of amazing to me cloistered and almost narcissistic this strand of government skepticism is. You can almost bet that the same demo would not evince an ounce of skepticism about the same government actually shooting or bombing people.
