Just checking to see if things have picked up, in prep for using this forum in 2025 😀

In the space of one week, this #PWD #artist has had the following happen: 1. Notified that my application for grant funding was denied; then directed to a program I am ineligible for. 2. Notified by the CRA that our #PWD family is being audited. 3. Spotify cancelled my podcasting account. 🤬

Personal Growth: Rather than respond with a "fuck off", I just Xd (form tweeted) a well reasoned response to someone that _assumes_ ill intentions where there were none. I still would have preferred the former response 😈

Is it just me or has there been an uptick in persons looking for "funding" using #PWD as a descriptor that they think will elicit more sympathy? Almost every "mutual aid" post I see these days lists #PWD in addition to whichever demographic they think will get the most traction.

Thought I'd take the opportunity to promote my #PWD owned / self-run site. I'm a #waterclolour painter, blog (and short essay) writer, and fledgling podcaster. I'd love to see some feedback on what I offer for this community!! gryphstuff.com

Accommodation and access for disabled people will never be a priority as long as they are solely the prerogative of nondisabled people.

I'll be winding down my activity on the BirdApp over the next week. I hope I can find a community of #PWD self-advocates here! 🖖
