IRR Group Leader Prof Ahsan Akram, appeared on STV last night to call for the rollout of lung cancer screening in Scotland. Early diagnosis saves lives - Scotland has no national lung cancer screening programme, in contrast to England, which has already screened 1M+ people.

Our latest paper is out. We characterise a known but understudied phenomenon in fibroblast biology of phenotypic drift in culture conditions using cell surface, trancriptonic and functional assessments.

Congrats to all involved especially Lillian. Lots more to do with this work to understand with more fidelity.

๐๐ฝ Blueskyers. Doing a phased migration over here. I usually post about our research successes, failures, lab group ice cream outings and lung cancer screening (and in no particular order).
