I read books about the concentration camps and how most of the German people knew about what was going on, yet they remained silent. I never thought Americans would do the same as we round up people and place them in concentration camps, and send them to other countries' prisons. This is madness.

I took a day trip to Atsion Lake in Wharton State Forest, N.J. It was a beautiful day. Here is how safe it was, including four lifeguard stations, two lifeguards in kayaks, and patrols in the water. Every two hours, they call everyone out of the lake to ensure all children are accounted for.

Reflecting on our attack on Iran. I believe Iran having nuclear weapons would not be promising for the world. On the other hand, Trump having his fingers on the nuclear trigger is alarming. It's a good day to reflect and pray. Perhaps I will be more hopeful afterwards. Let's stay strong.

I remember thinking about freedom: during the summer of 1976, the American bicentennial year. I will try to show, on the basis of five decades of my own mistakes, how some misunderstandings of freedom arose, and how they might be corrected. "On Freedom" by Timothy Snyder.

Lately, people have been discussing the last presidential election and whether there was an irregularity in counting votes. The best way to understand how we got here is to read Timothy Snyder‘s book on freedom. 

I just finished watching Anna from Ukraine discussing whether Ukraine should return to having nuclear weapons as a deterrent. My opinion is yes. Ukraine's developing nuclear deterrent is the best option. This will add to the strength of their military. The USA push Ukraine into giving up weapons.
