I know most people with a functioning brain realise that Trump is not all there, but does he really think he’ll win a Nobel “Peace” prize after starting wars with Venezuela and Iran, allowing genocide in Gaza and threatening to invade Greenland? People around him simply use him as a useful idiot.

Surprise, surprise. Reform failed to win yesterday’s election so are already blaming Muslim voters and “family voting.” No evidence, just allegations from their ultra right wing candidate Matt Goodwin. And as happens in Trumpland the right wing press trumpets their claim, still without evidence.

Fear of Farage is crippling the Labour Government and, tbh, the Tory party. Starmer changed tack as soon as he was elected. Angela would have been a good leader but her problem with tax cripples her at the moment. Andy Burnham would have been excellent but McSweeny intervened. Milliband would be ok.

Interesting that the right wing press in the UK have spent years attacking Harry and Meghan while skating over the revelations about the former Prince Andrew. They are now piling on on Starmer but Farage escapes much needed scrutiny . So much for an independent press.

Interesting article in the Washington Post about data centre resistance in the US. While the US and UK governments keep pushing to allow them, people who have had one imposed on them are very much against them. They’ve seen through the ongoing lies about more jobs, low usage of power and water.
