I was up late watching baseball on Friday & was out of gas for Saturday. I ran errands & swung by the skatepark in the morning. I cruised around & did a few tricks on the curb. It rained later so that was all for skateboarding. I maybe saw an osprey dive into the lake, but that's an educated guess.

I skateboarded in the driveway on Friday after work. I skipped Thursday. I set up a new board with a different type of grip tape. It seems OK. I haven't been skating good the last few months so every time rolling turns into a slog. I saw a chickadee, a downy woodpecker, and three mourning doves.

Skateboarding was rained out on Tuesday. I set up a new board so I spent Wednesday in the driveway after work getting used to the new ride. I did some frontside 50-50s, boardslides, tailslides, and 43s. I tried a different type of griptape. It seemed better. There were two song sparrows in the yard.

The weather was warm and cloudy for Monday so I did some driveway skateboarding after work. I was too tired to get anything out of it. There were not many birds in yard at all. I only saw a chickadee, a cardinal, and a song sparrow.

Saturday's baseball game went extra innings so I was tired for Sunday. I skateboarded at the Jamestown city park. Place was empty save for a BMX kid. He didn't stay long. I cruised around, did a few boardslides, fakie ollies, and backside 180s before giving up. There were only mallards & blue jays.

I inadvertently took Thursday off from skateboarding. We went out to eat and it got dark fast. I skated the driveway on Friday and Saturday with mixed results. It seems like any trick can be a chore. I landed enough to make it count, but it wasn't fun. A pair of chickadees are always in the yard.

There was wind for Wednesday. I did some driveway skateboarding after work. I landed some boardslides, ride-on grinds, and tailslides. I did a pop shove-it, too. The driveway isn't great for flatground. The young grackle is still hanging around the yard and there was a white-breasted nuthatch.

Tuesday was the exact same as Monday. I skateboarded like crap in the driveway. The red-breasted nuthatch was back in the yard and about 20 turkey vultures drifted over during the late afternoon.

For Monday, I did some skateboarding in the driveway after work. It was just not clicking at all. This happens all the time now. I was maybe tired from Sunday. There was a red-breasted nuthatch at the backyard feeders.

I skateboarded at the Jamestown city park on Sunday morning. Somebody vomited on the stairs. Of course my board managed to roll through it. There was an abandoned pocket knife, too. I'm glad I'm adult so I have paper towels and hand sanitizer in my car. I saw two cormorants and a bunch of mallards.

I was exhausted for Saturday and didn't even bother with skateboarding beyond doing two ollies in the street. I wasted a good late summer weather day, but I was out of gas. The young grackle is still in the backyard along with a couple of chickadees.

Friday was warm and sunny. I did some skateboarding in the driveway after work. I got some boardslides, noseslides, tailslides, and ride-on grinds. That's where I'm at these days. I'm old and tired. There was a downy woodpecker in the backyard. They haven't been around much lately.

I skateboarded at the park on Thursday. Wednesday was rainy. We ate out dinner early so I had time before the sun set. Park was empty with an odd breeze. Due to a lack of light & the wind. I did some frontside boardslides on the curb and fakie ollies on the quarterpipe. I saw a few windblown gulls.

Skateboarding was rained out on Monday. I was back at it on Tuesday. I skated the driveway for a bit before dinner. It really was not working for me at all. I probably should've taken another day off. There's been a young grackle around the yard and it is finally getting its adult plumage.

I stuck with driveway skateboarding for the weekend. It was nothing spectacular. Saturday actually felt fun. I wanted to hit a park on Sunday, but there was wind. There has been a white-breasted nuthatch in the yard and turkey vultures migrating. I saw a killdeer and a great blue heron around town.

I forget the sun sets earlier now. We went out for dinner two towns over. When we got home, I didn’t have much light left. I skateboarded in the driveway for 25 minutes. I fit in some boardslides, noseslides, and tailslides. It counts. I saw 6-12 robins while driving home from work on Thursday.

Wednesday was a repeat of the last two days. It was a nice warm outside so I skateboarded in the driveway for a bit after work. I did some noseslides, boardslides, ride-on grinds, and a 43. I was worn out hence the laziness. There have been a couple song sparrows around the yard.

Tuesday was the same as Monday. I skateboarded in the driveway for a little bit after work. I guess I did some noseslides, boardslides, and tailslides. A dozen turkey vultures drifted over and a vole ran across the driveway.

On Monday I skateboarded in the driveway for a little bit after work and before dinner. It wasn’t much of anything. I thought about taking the day off, but it was nice to be outside. There weren’t many birds in the yard. A Cooper’s hawk did zip through and that probably had something to do with it.

For weekend skateboarding, I rolled in the driveway on Friday and Saturday. Friday was OK. Saturday had some rain. I hit the Jamestown city park on Sunday morning. I cruised around some, but was moving in slow motion. I didn’t see much in the way of birds. I thought I heard a catbird in Jamestown.

It was warm and calm on Thursday evening. I went to the park to skateboard. The place was empty. I landed a good pop shove-it first try and did a bunch of frontside boardslides on the curb. Nothing was really working for me. Some Canadian geese and a blue jay flew over.

I’m still breaking in new shoes and stuck with the driveway for skateboarding on Wednesday evening. Twilight sets in fast now. It was better than Tuesday, but that was a low bar to clear. I did some noseslides, frontside boardslides, and tailslides. A white-breasted nuthatch visited the backyard.

I skateboarded in the driveway after work on Tuesday. I wasn’t sure if or where I wanted to skate and it went as such. I got a few noseslides, boardslides, and tailslides. It was not clicking at all, even on basic tricks. There were a trio of song sparrows in the backyard.

I did some driveway skateboarding after work on Monday. I was tired and still breaking in a new pair of shoes so it wasn't much of anything. I guess I did some noseslides, tailslides, and boardslides before dinner. There was a red-winged blackbird in the backyard. Those are usually all gone by now.

For weekend skateboarding, I stuck with the driveway. I started breaking in new shoes and there was a smidge of rain so this was the easy option. The shoe process is going OK, but is still a chore since I haven’t been skating great lately. All of the regular birds were in the backyard.

I went to the park to skateboard on Thursday night. Day was a clunker. We ate out. It wasn't great. Park was cool and had wet spots from the rain. I did a few boardslides and 50-50s before quitting. Some seagulls were drifting over my apartment in the morning. They were avoiding a storm on the lake.

Wednesday was warm and calm. I went skateboarding at the park. There was a pile of gravel and a handful of demon children. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fun either. I did some backside nollies, boardslides, half cab noseslides, and stayed out of the way. I saw a big flock of Canadian geese fly over.

I did some driveway skateboarding after dinner on Tuesday. The daylight goes away fast now. I guess I did some noseslides, boardslides, and tailslides. I was worn out from work, but it was nice to be outside. There’s been a pair of chickadees running wild all over the yard.

Monday was Labor Day. I had the day off. I didn’t know where I wanted to skateboarded so I wound up skating the driveway for a bit before dinner. I wasn’t feeling it and lost focus on what I was doing. I chalk it up to being tired. A handful of turkey vultures drifted by above the house.

I went to the Jamestown city skatepark on Sunday morning. It's a better spot for birdwatching than skateboarding. I did some 50-50s and boardslides, plus cruised around the bowls. I saw an osprey and a great blue heron. The heron flew by the river twice at eye level and less than 20' away.

I did some driveway skateboarding on Saturday afternoon. It was nice outside in the sun. I did a few noseslides, boardslides, tailslides, ride-on grinds, and jump ramp ollies. A small hawk flew by. It was either a Cooper's or a sharp-shinned. It's tough to tell the two apart.

I saw three bands play at BJ's on Thursday. Even though I don't drink any more, I skateboarded like somebody who was up past their bedtime on Friday night. I did some boardslides, tailslides, and one ollie off the jump ramp in the driveway. There was a goldfinch and two tufted titmice in the yard.

I set up a new board on Tuesday, but was rained out. I did skateboard in the driveway on Wednesday evening. The new deck was needed as the old one was worn down. I landed some boardslides, a frontside 50-50, ride-on grinds, and tailslides. There were four bluejays and a goldfinch in the yard.

I dodged some rain to fit in a little driveway skateboarding after dinner on Monday. I skated half OK. I think I was tired. I did a few noseslides, ride-on grinds, and boardslides. The daylight is gone by 8:00 PM now. It looks like the catbirds have left the yard for parts unknown.

I did skateboard over the weekend. Evenings are getting shorter now. I hit the park on Friday and the driveway the other days. I did some boardslides, 50-50s, and tailslides or something. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. I saw a hummingbird, a rose-breasted grosbeak, tufted titmice, and grackles.

I went to the park to skateboard last night after dinner. The sun was behind the clouds so you weren't frying in the sunset. A few other folks were skating. I did a bunch of boardslides, half cab boardslides, a pop shove-it, and a frontside 50-50. I only saw some Canadian geese and seagulls fly by.

It has been rainy the last two days. I got warmed up for skateboarding in the driveway before being rained out on Wednesday evening. I did some ollies, a 43, a good half Cab, and three jump ramp ollies prior to everything getting wet. A white-breasted nuthatch has returned to the yard.

I skipped town for the weekend and skateboarding was rained out Sunday so Monday night was the first time I rolled in a few days. I landed some frontside 50-50s, jump ramp ollies, noseslides, and tailslides. The time off helped as it felt like skateboard again. Two tufted titmice were in the yard.

I had some errands and housework to do on Thursday night so I only had the time for a quick driveway session. I was good for some 43s, frontside 50-50s, noseslides, and jump ramp ollies. There’s a catbird or two in the front yard. I think it has a nest in one of the trees.

Wednesday was humid due to some early morning rain. I wound up skateboarding in the driveway in the evening, even though I was on the tired side. I did the same tricks as always. I did get a frontside 50-50 fairly quickly. It was decent. There have been a few cardinals in the backyard.

I accidentally slept on the couch on Monday night. The garbage truck woke me up at 5:00 AM. I never really got back to sleep. I was tired for Tuesday. I skateboarded in the driveway in the evening. I did some noseslides, tailslides, and railslides. There were a lot of grackles in the backyard.

Monday was hot. I wound up skateboarding in the driveway after dinner. I keep adjusting my trucks a little. I think I'm messing things up. I guess I did some noseslides, tailslides, frontside 50-50s, and jump ramp ollies. There was a catbird in the front yard and I saw a bat fly over later.

I did skateboard in the driveway on Friday night and hit up the skatepark on Saturday morning before it got hot. Neither session amounted to much. A ruby-throated hummingbird zipped through the yard on Friday and I saw two killdeer while walking at the college on Sunday morning.

I did skateboard in the driveway for a while on Tuesday night after dinner. I guess the days off maybe helped a little. I did some 43s, noseslides, railslides, and tailslides. There were a couple catbirds in the front yard.
