at FC I asked @ishaway.bsky.social if she’d made prints of a lovely Anubis painting she did in 2022. To my surprise, she offered me the original instead! Moral of the story: if you like a particular work an artist did years ago, ask them about it - it may still be looking for a home

thinking again I ought to get art sometimes of myself riding or taming a dinosaur, in memory of the dinosaur-obessed little boy I once was, who supposed it was my destiny to move to Utah and dig up bones

FC was very chill this year. I met w/fewer people but the quality was much higher overall. Enjoyed seeing several close friends, one nice new boy, and had a couple good DD conversations about Anubis with artists. Unsure if I’ll be back next year…depends how my efforts to become a dad progress
