music is viseral like nothing else not only for transporting one to times & places of the past but also the people who occupied them. One strain of a song and you're back in the company of a long-dead grandparent, or a former friend departed from your life, or an unrequited love you had to let go of

every time I attend another con I come home wanting a fursuit head, tail and paws, but with my finances this year and next entirely tied up in my efforts to become a father, spare funding for luxuries like a fursuit partial are quite lacking

having an artist whose work I admire tell me I have the kind of body they like to use as reference for drawing was a very satisfying end to my last full day at FC
