I think the Orioles offense, despite the inconsistencies, is actually good enough. The starting pitching is the issue. Which, I'm sure, no one could have predicted coming into the season.

I don't get why Albernaz had to have the most cryptic answer to this question like 2 hours before they activated Jackson Holliday.

I know Mikolas is really bad, but it's still nice to see these guys jump all over a bad pitcher

The Orioles fired Buck Showalter, shamelessly tanked for five years, and ended up with a worse version of those Buck teams. The exact same feast or famine homerun centric offense with mediocre at best rotations. The big difference is those Buck teams had elite bullpens and played good defense.

This team, mainly the pitching, just isn't good enough to survive this many injuries. It's abundantly clear that this is at best a .500 team.

Mike Elias really does need to go if this franchise is serious about winning anything important anytime soon. He just doesn't have what it takes to take a team to the next level.
