This is baffling. What is their end game with this? It is likely we will soon see outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases in Florida. Who benefits from that? I honestly want to hear the logic.

This is the reality of America’s gun crisis — kids traumatized at school while leaders cash checks from the gun lobby. This is not normal, and it will keep happening until our leaders choose kids over guns.

Nothing else - ignoring the behavior or speaking out- seemed to help over the last 10 years. Anything that may eventually help stop the nonsense is welcomed.

This is a travesty & a nightmare. The US was a founder of
@gavi.org
. It lowers global vaccine costs, has vaccinated 1B children, & averted 19M deaths. This pull out will cost 100s of thousands of children's lives a year - and RFK Jr will be personally responsible.

icymi: lots of bad news for people receiving US aid, but last week there were two pieces of good news. - two big HIV treatment contracts were renewed after being terminated. - a factory making specialized food for malnourished kids is operational again.

This graphic is for one maternal and child health program my NGO was part of through USAID. Starting in 2021, this cumulative data is the last we have before the
#USAIDstopworkorder
in January. (We learned last week the order is permanent for this project, along with 94% of all USAID programs.) 1/

Brilliant but devastating editorial in the Financial Times. “In the past 10 days, he [Trump] has all but incinerated 80 years of postwar American leadership. If you are not at the table, you are on the menu. America has turned.”
