Just finished my 10 straight issue run on Marvel's HELLVERINE (200+ pages), time to put the feet up and chill for a bit.

The Hulk and The Thing should never wear shoes. Both have great feet to draw and shoes would just be ripped to shreds as soon as they flex their toes.

College student Bill Sienkiewicz walked into DC Comics to show his portfolio but no jobs were available so Neal Adams directed him to go to Marvel where Jim Shooter immediately found a gig for him- Moon Knight #1 and on-going. A legend created a legend.

Thoughts on drawing a comic... WORST-- getting the script and frantically thinking "How am I going to draw all this?" MEDIUM-- finishing the pencil roughs and thinking "This may work out after all." BEST-- finishing the last page of inks and thinking "That wasn't as bad as I thought."

Bill Sienkiewicz-- wish he'd do more comics.
