The fun thing about side projects is that you have to set deadlines so that you are actually progressing on the project and at the same time accept that you often won't be able to respect those deadlines because, well, it's a side project ergo not prioritary. Wait, that's actually not fun at all!!

One of the ""nice"" things about gen AI is that I'm afraid to talk about the progress on my game's AI in case people would think I'm talking about LLM/gen AI crap. Gone are the days where you could talk about AI in games and nobody would see anything suspicious about it.

Currently trying to find the name of this specific tool to put it in my game. Apparently it's called a "staff hook" in English and a "croissant" in French (yeah, for real). Wished I knew the name in Occitan, which would feet the context, but I can't manage to find it.

I have mixed feelings about the Chrono Trigger remake. While it's one of my favorite games and I'm glad it may mean more people will try it, it's also a game that's perfectly playable right now without needing a remake. The DS version is incredible and the Steam version is pretty good afaik.
