I will keep saying this until we ship him off... Johnson needs to never see the field again for #COYS. "All he does is score." Whatever man. He murders every attack where he's not the end product and his marking is awful (BOTH goals). He will be a great player... for somebody else.

This is not the first time I have seen a player/manager/referee complain that "our player who did the dreadful thing shouldn't be punished because the people on the field didn't appear to be competent and that's not our fault." It's some pretty weak sauce.

I think it's troubling that #COYS shows such poor ability to progress the ball through the midfield, and a lot of that is personnel when we play Lolo and Palhinha together. But at some point it comes down to training work. This team regularly fails to recognize openings and take advantage of them.

RKM has been really good today but the midfield again has provided no service. The color commentator keeps bemoaning Frank has to get the front line producing, but the midfield is not progressing the ball… again. #COYS

I cannot believe how many times Spurs players have pulled the ball back into the defense instead of turning into acres of space today… foremost Simons playing VdV into trouble on the goal. #COYS

I also love the quality of the Newcastle fans that they boo Kudus for getting pissed at Joelintin for nearly tearing both of his ACLs with that brutal tackle from behind. Just pointing this out... Tori Penso booked Sam Sturridge for UB in the 94th and gave the card to his back. He never knew we had been booked, so then he interefered with a restart 2 minutes later and got sent off for 2Y. Because Penso didn't bother to make sure he knew he'd been booked. #USOpenCup
