Been playing Skyrim again recently and it strikes me how much it helps my immersion to not have any cutscenes and to have everything seen from the player character's POV. It's great. And the physics make the game still feel pretty modern to me even today. What a good game.

I just watched Morbius and thiS WHOLE TIME I HAD THOUGHT HE ACTUALLY SAYS IT'S MORBIN TIME I'm so dumb hahaha

Can I humbly request that games lean into spending their compute budget on physics rather than higher fidelity graphics? 😅 Pretty graphics are fun and all, but physics do infinitely more for my immersion and open so many more gameplay possibilities, it's awesome. I think about this a lot.

Blender nerds, is there an easy way to get solid black inner and outer contour lines on all objects in a scene? It needs to work with a panoramic camera lens, so any solution relying on Grease Pencil seems to be out of the question? 😬

As game awards go, I thought this year's show was pretty good. Would have loved to see Balatro win, but Astro Bot is cool too. Borderlands 4 was the game there that I look forward to most. And lots of respect as always to Swen Vincke for continuing to try to be a positive influence. 👏

I'm always a fan of forcing good habits by setting limitations. Recently I deleted my zoom hotkey, and it's working great. Not only does it break a bad habit of zooming when I don't strictly need to, but it also makes my recordings nicer to watch and frees up keys I can use for other things. 👍
