3 years ago today I was diagnosed with cancer, giving me a first-hand look at the costs of healthcare. The budget bill currently being debated would put that care out of reach for millions—including those suffering from cancer and other serious diseases. It must be stopped.

Last week, I traveled to Austin, Comal County, and Williamson County to hear from Texans directly about the biggest challenges Texas families face. It was great to see everyone and we are in this fight together.
