We have been busy validating the peripherals and interfaces on the @particleiot.bsky.social Tachyon EVT units. This is me “testing” the SPI interface. So far, I have a Spotify now-playing info fetcher, an Instagram photo streamer, and voice controlled radar and weather data display!

This was a fun project! A Particle Photon 2 connects over Wi-Fi to retrieve the day’s weather forecast, sunrise and sunset times, and wind conditions, displaying everything on an @adafruit 170x320 TFT screen.

An old USB-C phone dock makes for a perfect programming/charging station for this little lander! 🚀
