So, gonna say it now. I purchased the BluRay of Battle: LA just so I could get the preview of third Resistance game. Glad I did. The game was amazing, and Battle: LA turned out to be a favorite. Not a great movie, but a solid one, and deserved more than it got. Gonna plant a flag on that hill.

This weekend Aliesha and I crewed a 100 mile run for a friend. We got up Friday morning, left after work, fruitlessly tried to get some sleep, and spent the next 30 hours driving to aid stations, waiting for our runner, and tending to them. He crossed the finish line with 13 minutes to spare.

"Days Gone" is a pretty damned good game, story, experience. Some issues. Gameplay gets kinda same-same. But mixes shit up by using the same gameplay in story-telling gut-punches. The story is simple, but told in a complex way, with *major* payoff at the end. One side story kills in the end.
