I forgot to put plug of the spark plug wires back in before doing this pre-VeXpo errand, so the Pinto was briefly a 3 cylinder engine

Got a new battery hold-down made of plastic from 1976. Humanity has certainly gotten better at manufacturing low cost injection molded plastic since then 😅

The car is unfortunately now leaking coolant/antifreeze from the most annoying location ever: behind the engine! Time to buy an inspection camera to find out whether it's a fitting or a hose.

Ripped out the previous restomod's questionably installed single DIN head unit and replaced it with a touchscreen for $70. The Pinto now has USB-C and wireless Android Auto lol
